Family Time at Citadines Salcedo

Being stuck in the city isn't all that bad when you have a place like Citadines Salcedo to get some R&R. It's located right in the business district so you can expect a lot of action to happen around. I brought my family for a staycation as a Mother's Day Weekend treat, a birthday bash for my Dad whose birthday was on May 15 and it's also Citadines Salcedo's 5th anniversary. Yup it was a triple celebration and it was the perfect venue for it.

The first thing that caught my attention when we walked into our One-bedroom deluxe was there was a welcome gift. It was a map of all my travels. I really loved how they did their research and added a personal touch. It made me feel so welcomed and at home.

Their rooms are very spacious. My brother and I stayed in one room while my parents stayed in another but honestly, the room was so big that the four of us could've stayed in one and still have more than enough space to roam around. Each One-bedroom deluxe has its own living room, kitchen, dining table, and a gigantic bathroom. It's normally priced at Php7500 but because it's their anniversary, it's now only Php5500 on weekdays and Php6752.15 on weekends. Their studio apartments are on promo too. From Php7000, it's only Php5000.

There are a lot of activities to do around the area. The best thing to do (in my opinion) is to eat! You can find so many restaurants depending on what you're craving for. My personal favorites are Blackbird (European), Mendokoro Rambenba (Japanese) and Toby's Estate (Coffee/ Dessert). You can also go to the Salcedo Market which is every Saturday. They serve homemade food, fresh produce and sell random local finds. If you're willing to go a little further, there are a lot of malls just 15 minutes away from the hotel. You can watch a movie, shop or eat again.

We decided to just enjoy the hotels' facilities instead of heading out. There's a pool and a gym located on the 9th floor which the view of the city.

If you get hungry, just go to the lobby and you'll find The Frying Pan. They serve all kinds of Asian dishes like Mee Goreng, Porchetta, and Chicken Insasal.
