Bayud is Calling

My trip to Siargao was originally supposed to be just a trip with my friends. After four straight days of partying, most of them headed back to Manila for work. Lucky for me, my job allows me to work from anywhere so I decided to extend a couple of days on the island for some quiet time. After all, that's what vacations should be about. I transferred to a resort tucked away from the main strip to be able to fully relax and isolate myself.

Bayud Boutique Resort is located in Malinao. It's around 20 minutes away via habal-habal from General Luna, where all the restaurants and parties are. It's so secluded that it feels like the island is yours for the taking. There's a private beach, a Filipino restaurant that serves the best sisig tacos, and a bar that's open 'til late. What more do you need than that?

That was my room on the right. There are only 11 villas so you can be sure to have your own privacy.
