Sofitel's Japanese Sake Dinner

Pair traditional sake with a rich selection of Japanese dishes

Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila presents its first Japanese Sake Dinner where artisan Chef Hiromi Yonekawa prepares a 6-course meal together with featured varieties of sake. All the recipes were passed on by his mother, a native of Kyoto and the inspiration to his culinary journey. The dishes are known to be healthy and comforting creations that bursts with flavor. Be part of this exciting chapter in Sofitel's Wine Dinner series available at P3,500nett per person.

Sake is an alcohol brewed from rice. The alcohol content ranges from 13% to 20% and has been part of the Japanese epicurean culture in the last 2,500 years. Discover the many varieties of sake which may surprisingly include the sweet tones for caramel and bananas; or the earthier flavors of musty mushrooms, acidic lychee or the mix of pear and bamboo.
