Feed your soul at Cafe Creole
Café Creole is the baby of the Red Crab Group of Restaurants. It took its inspiration from Uncle Murray, the founder of Murray's New Orleans. Uncle Murray Hertz was born in Connecticut but took comfort in food from a town called Louisiana.
When I looked at their menu, I noticed that most of their dishes were mostly meant for brunch which is a concept rooted in Southern cuisine. It was during the 1930s that brunch became increasingly popular. Brunch was the meal for people who missed breakfast. Usually the ones who stayed out too late the night before or for people like me who just hate waking up early. Their dishes are simple, not the type for a romantic date, but a good pick me up meal to start your day.
They serve really good coffee!
