Hats were meant for protection from the sun. In my case, I used it to complete my outfit indoors. I might have looked silly wearing a hat around the mall but in my defense, I didn't expect it to rain. The weather wasn't in my favor and I was forced to take my photos inside. It's not uncommon to see people wearing hats and even sunglasses inside where there's no sun at all. Hats aren't anymore just used for its function, it has become a fashion statement.
