Dear Dad

 This one's for you, Dad

Dear Dad,

I remember when I was a kid I used to write to you for every occasion--- on your birthday, Christmas, Father's Day and the times I used to beg you to allow me out. I am here to make it to you for skipping out on it the last couple of years. You and I have always shared a special bond because in the family, we're two peas in a pod. Aside from the obvious fact that we look alike, we also share the same love for animals, music, travelling and BACON. Looking back at our old photos made me miss how close we once were. We used to watch Ateneo UAAP games, eat at new restaurants, and take the dogs for a walk. They may be simple things but I loved every second of it. I am sorry that as I got older, I didn't notice that we were drifting apart. I know it wasn't easy raising a stubborn daughter like me. There were many instances that you were tested and it reached the point that I broke your heart and yet you still showered me with unconditional love. You never turned your back on me and instead, you fought harder. I admire your strength and perseverance. I hope to one day possess all the qualities that you have. There is no one like you and how lucky am I that I get to call you my father?

Love,
Your Favorite Daughter

P.S. We need more photos of just the two of us together.
